Works like it’s supposed to. I do recommend getting a larger pencil for writing.

Really good for diving in little cayman. The divemaster is the last one in so it’s great to draw a map for yourself to follow the path! Easy to use and great price!

Great product. Just received and tested it in my kitchen sink. The pencil could be better, but OK.
I can confirm that Mr Clean Magic Eraser is the way to go for cleaning. Works like a magic indeed! I tried to clean using paper tower and soap first, but it did not work, the writing faded, but was still very visible. Magic Eraser removed the writing COMPLETELY, 100%.
If for some weird reason ;-) you don't already have Magic Eraser, just buy one and keep it in the same bag with the slate. It's very useful cleaning pad all around the house/car. It's non-scratching and can get off tough stains with just a bit of water.

Kinda cheap... pencil is pretty much worthless. But it'll be used in a pinch. I would pay more for better quality for something like this.
