Promate Wrist Depth Gauge/GP075:
*200'/60m altitude adjustable depth gauge with a maximum depth indicator and wrist boot.
*Luminescent dial face.
*Made in Italy
This is a HUGE item, the depth not being apparent on the picture. It's meant, imo, to be mounted to a gauge panel. Worn around the wrist, it's just too large. Further, the strap isn't short enough that you can tighten it enough to stay in place without spinning around the wrist. It's about 2" deep, so it really sticks out.
As far as accuracy, it's pretty good. It read 15 feet in a 17 foot pool. There is no way to tell it whether it's fresh or salt water, so that may have some input into accuracy as well.
If you have a gauge cluster and it fits, go for it. If you want to WEAR it around your wrist, look elsewhere. I guess you could mount it to your BCD, but it would be tough to see in that case.
I purchased this depth gauge to install onto my TAC-100 navigation board ([...] and it performs perfectly. It states that it is "luminescent" in the product description. To be more accurate; it is glow in the dark. It also has a max depth needle to note the deepest part of your descent. This is a solid product that does precisely what it is intended to do. Note: I have submerged mine down to 110 feet / 33.528 meters successfully.
it tough and it works just the way i want it to especially if am using the tank ...........thnx alot............
