We haven't used our snorkel gear yet, but I am able to read with the goggles on while I cannot read without wearing glasses. I'm pleased with the gear and nice vibrant colors. If you need glasses, it is worth the money to spend even if you don't go snorkeling on a routine basis. I missed out sooooo much last year snorkeling in the Caribbean and don't want that repeat on this years tropical cruise. The order process was super simple and a real person answered the phone quickly when I called with a question.

Used 5 times in recent trip to Caribbean. The Scope RX mask gave me great vision in the water and when looking around at the surface. Sealed pretty well to my face. Would recommend a different brand if not needing the RX as the silicone material of the face seal and strap are pretty thin compared to a Cressi mask I purchased for my wife at a similar base price as the non-RX mask. The snorkel and fins worked fine but wish there were other options when buying a "package" as the other ones look better but are not discounted as a package.
