The Solo is a modern single lens mask that offers a panoramic, low volume field of view in the streamlined design. The double-sealed silicone skirt molds to the face to create a comfortable, watertight seal. Buckles with flexible mounts on the skirt allow you to easily route the non-slip strap to achieve the perfect fit. This mask is a favorite among recreational divers.

We ordered two prescription masks from GetWetLens, and unfortunately we are not happy with either of them. I am reviewing the Scubapro Solo here specifically.
I purchased the custom prescription Scubapro Solo for $419 because I specifically wanted a single-lens mask and expected the prescription work to look clean and professionally integrated.
Unfortunately, the result was extremely disappointing. The prescription correction appears to be made by bonding two separate prescription lens pieces onto the inside of the original single lens. The borders around both pieces are very obvious, and from the front it looks more like an aftermarket modification than a premium custom prescription mask.
The regular non-prescription Solo is around $139, so I paid roughly $280 extra for the prescription customization. At that price, I expected much better workmanship and presentation.
What bothered me most is that I do not remember the product page clearly showing or explaining that the finished mask would look this way. Had I known, I would not have ordered this option.
This is not my first prescription dive mask. I used my previous prescription mask happily for a long time until I lost it, so I already had a good idea of what to expect.
I contacted GetWetLens directly and gave them an opportunity to address my concerns before posting this review, but I did not receive a response.
