Simple system and just works, have used it diving several times and I like the fact that you can use your octo regulator to fill it with air. I say fill but it takes off for the surface well before it is full. Hint: Get to about 20 feet then fill it up, the line is only about 20 feet and if you leave it attached to your BCD and are deeper than 20 you will get pulled to 20 feet quickly. The float was very helpful maintaining the 20 to 15 ft safety stop depth for 3 minutes without having to stare at your computer or depth gauge. It is not always easy to estimate or maintain your depth in the open water. Easy to roll back up and put back in the pouch. Was happy to have it on the trip to ensure I did a good safety stop and controlled the ascent to the surface.
